Job Summary
Provide intensive family-centred social work within the Family Help service for children in need and their families in Coalville, delivering trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions in clients' homes, managing assessments, safeguarding, child protection, and private family law reports; requires SWE-validated social work degree, registration, UK driving licence and vehicle access; experience with child in need, safeguarding, court work; familiarity with Signs of Safety; ability to prioritise, work within duty rosters, and contribute to performance indicators; opportunities for flexible/hybrid working.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work approved by Social Work England (SWE) or equivalent social work qualification i.e. Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work, and evidence of continuing professional development. You must also be registered with Social Work England. You must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence (or be able to convert your current licence) and have access to a vehicle.
