Job Summary
The Family Advocate supports families of 0-5-year-olds and prenatal mothers through health, education, nutrition and social services, including home visits, needs assessments, goal setting, recruitment/enrollment, case management, and collaboration with teachers and staff to connect families with community resources. Responsibilities include maintaining caseloads, advocating for children and families, documenting activities, providing crisis interventions as needed, and developing individualized support plans while ensuring safety and quality of service; requires reliable transportation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Will consider Associates Degree
- Must hold a valid Maine Driver's License
