Social Worker

School Social Worker responsible for delivering school-based social work services, collaborating with school staff and community agencies to maximize student participation and independence. Functions include participation in IEP/504/RTI/MTSS teams, providing social skills and emotional development support through direct student contact or professional consultation, conducting social histories and observations, and coordinating with families and external providers. Responsibilities include direct student services (counseling, group skills instruction, behavioral intervention, crisis intervention), developing and evaluating prevention/intervention programs, using data to design and adjust interventions, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and staff. RI certification as a School Social Worker is required. All applications must be complete for consideration; transcripts corresponding to degrees earned must be provided.
