Job Summary
The Early Learning School Social Worker provides social-emotional, developmental, and family-support services for children from birth through age five and their families, coordinating outreach, home visiting, and community connections; conducts prevention and intervention supports, collaborates with ECFE/Preschool/ECSE/Birth-3/Screening, assists with 504 plans, and partners with district and community agencies to promote equitable access to early learning programs and services. Responsibilities include building strengths-based relationships with families, conducting outreach to increase program participation, supporting recruitment and enrollment efforts, connecting families to health, housing, transportation, and other supports, facilitating family groups and home visits, and ensuring appropriate interventions and transitions across early childhood services; maintains records, collaborates with staff, and performs duties as assigned by building administration.
Required Qualifications
- MN Board of Social Work License
- Current MN licensure in School Social Work
