Job Summary
Undertake Child and Family Assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, while managing a varied caseload of children and families. Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding interventions and attend strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and legal proceedings where required. Produce clear, analytical, and child-focused assessments and reports. This role is based at the front door of Children's Services in Rochdale, offering immediate interview availability and hybrid working arrangements. The team provides supportive management, exclusive training access, and a dedicated consultant. Candidates must hold Social Work England registration and Qualified Social Worker status.

- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Enhanced DBS
