Job Summary
Social Worker in a Domestic Violence Shelter providing trauma-informed, client-centered social work within an anti-oppressive framework. Responsibilities include client intakes, safety and risk assessments, Family Assessments, mental health screenings, risk management (SARM), ongoing case management and crisis intervention, advocacy, direct client services, and documentation. Supervisory duties for Childcare, training and resource development for staff, and liaison with external agencies. Opportunity to obtain clinical hours with supervision (LCSW). Tech setup for remote work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of domestic violence, child abuse and neglect and sexual abuse
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
