Job Summary
Conduct direct social, emotional, and behavioral services for children and youth while collaborating with families, administrators, and educators to create supportive learning environments. Assess risk, provide crisis interventions, and make community referrals. Develop individualized behavior goals and interventions under Section 504 and IDEA by interpreting assessment data. Serve as a liaison between students, homes, schools, courts, and medical providers to address disabilities, abuse, or poverty. Support district social and emotional learning initiatives and may participate in extra-duty activities such as coaching or tutoring. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, a Colorado Special Service Provider License, and a preference for LCSW status and prior experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - School Social Work
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado
Desired Qualifications
- Be a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred
- Have previous social work experience, preferred
