Job Summary
As a Social Worker at DaVita, you'll support patients undergoing dialysis, helping them navigate the physical, mental, emotional, and financial challenges of End Stage Renal Disease. You will build meaningful relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient setting, and be part of a team focused on quality improvement initiatives. A Master's degree in Social Work and knowledge of insurance programs are required, along with basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required with a specialization in clinical practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
