Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide individual and family psychotherapy utilizing brief treatment modalities for Southcoast Health patients across the hospital system. Serve as a consultant and resource to hospital staff in managing behavioral health disorders while collaborating with complex/chronic care management and longitudinal community support services. Perform duties under the direction of the Manager of Social Work in the hospital setting. Work a day shift (8:00am - 4:30pm) with 24-hour coverage at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and current Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC licensure.
Required Qualifications
- A Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
