Job Summary
Provide clinical and casework services to members served and natural supports under supervision of a licensed clinician, focusing on person-centered recovery planning and collaboration with external agencies. Manage assessment and case management for adult participants in Alameda County treatment courts, linking individuals with substance use and mental health services while maintaining communication with the court team. Lead collaborative court hearings and provide consultation to judges, attorneys, probation officers, and other partners to ensure participants access treatment and successfully exit the criminal justice and/or DCFS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school
- Working towards licensure
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science
- One (1) year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting
- Criminal justice clearance
- Education verification
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
- First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with applicant's name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use personal vehicle to attend meetings
- Acceptable results of post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
