Job Summary
Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches to develop positive academic and social interventions. Monitor and report student progress, complete evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and professionals to create supportive environments. Build leadership to help students succeed while utilizing trauma-informed practices within a personalized curriculum. Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary. This 10-month direct-hire role supports students in generalizing classroom skills for post-secondary opportunities in college, trades, or employment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate)
- Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate)
- MSW with LSW
- LCSW
- LCPC
- LPC
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
- Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
- Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times
