Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group clinical counseling for adults and children with severe psychiatric diagnoses, trauma, and co-occurring conditions using evidence-based modalities. Collect bio-psycho-social information through interviews and case histories to determine psychiatric diagnoses, treatment plans, and referral advisability. Manage patients in behavioral intensive outpatient programs, coordinate with family advocacy, substance abuse, and chaplain services, and develop inter-agency forums as needed. Execute quality management duties, establish objective behavioral outcome measures, and provide concise documentation and reports. Requires a Master's degree in social work, a current active clinical license, and one year of specialized experience in mental health patient evaluations and counseling.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction
- One year of specialized experience which includes conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations of mental health patients, providing individual or group clinical counseling and analyzing information collected to determine psychiatric diagnosis treatment plans or recommendations
