Job Summary
Support children and families involved in Child Protection Plans, Pre-Proceedings, Court Proceedings, and Intake and Locality teams. Safeguard children and improve outcomes for families by working within the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and Wales Safeguarding Procedures. Apply a strengths-based, child-focused approach while collaborating with families and multi-agency professionals. Join experienced teams under established Team Managers and Principal Social Workers. Requires a Social Work degree, registration with Social Care Wales, three years' experience, a UK driving licence, and right to work in the UK. Flexible hybrid working and regular monthly supervision included.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- A minimum of three years' experience within a Children's Social Work setting
- Relevant post-qualified Social Work experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Right to work in the UK
