Job Summary
Social Worker – Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level) based in Middlesbrough. Manage complex safeguarding cases involving children and families; undertake assessments, develop care plans, and lead interventions to ensure child safety and wellbeing. Collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver safeguarding responses, contribute to court proceedings, and provide high-quality written reports. Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and duty rota. Requires Qualified Social Worker with current registration and substantial post-qualified experience in children’s safeguarding; strong assessment, planning, and risk management skills; ability to work under pressure and deliver child-centred practice.
