Social Worker - Child Protection

Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs, and intervene in crisis situations to ensure immediate safety. Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams while undertaking statutory visits and maintaining accurate case records. Attend child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings, providing written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required. Liaise with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to coordinate support and advocate for the rights and welfare of children. Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans. Work closely with families to promote positive change and improve outcomes.
