Job Summary
Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs, developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. Undertake statutory visits, maintain accurate case records, and intervene in crisis situations to ensure immediate child safety. Attend child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings while liaising with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to coordinate support. Provide written reports for legal proceedings, advocate for children's rights, and monitor cases to ensure progress and compliance with care plans. Work closely with families to promote positive change and improve outcomes within a progressive Local Authority.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
