Job Summary
Social Worker - Child Protection in Manchester (England) focused on conducting child and family assessments, developing and implementing child protection plans with multi-agency teams, statutory visits, maintaining case records, crisis intervention, attendance at child protection conferences and court proceedings, liaising with schools and health/police colleagues, and providing written reports for legal proceedings. Requires Social Work England registration, UK eligibility to work, a full UK driving licence, post-qualification experience, and a degree in Social Work. Knowledge of safeguarding, advocacy for children's welfare, and ability to coordinate support across agencies is essential. Eligible to work in the UK with DBS/compliance support provided by the agency.
