Job Summary
Social Worker – Child Protection to join the Safeguarding Team in Richmond upon Thames or Kingston upon Thames. Key responsibilities include supporting children and young people subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans, transferring cases to the Permanence team, building strong relationships with families and partner agencies, and completing assessments, threshold applications, home visits, direct work, care planning, chairing meetings, and case recording in line with policy. Requirements include a qualified social worker with a relevant degree, completion of ASYE, and active Social Work England registration. The role is based in the UK with an emphasis on safeguarding and collaboration across services.
