Social Worker - Child Protection

Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs, intervening in crisis situations to ensure immediate safety. Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams, undertaking statutory visits and maintaining accurate, up-to-date case records. Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings while advocating for the rights and welfare of children and young people. Liaise with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to coordinate support, providing written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required. Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans. Post-qualified experience and Social Work England registration required.
