Job Summary
Social Worker in a skilled nursing facility focused on addressing residents’ medically related emotional and social needs. Assist the Director to plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the social services department in compliance with current standards and the facility’s policies and procedures. This role emphasizes caring leadership, team collaboration, and comprehensive support to residents through education and growth opportunities for staff. The position is full-time, with days shifts, and is part of a benefits-rich environment including PTO, health insurance, 401K, and educational opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long term care preferred but not required
