Job Summary
Oncology Social Worker provides comprehensive psychosocial support services to patients diagnosed with breast and gynecologic cancers across the continuum of care, including newly diagnosed patients, individuals undergoing active treatment, survivors, and patients receiving end-of-life care. The role operates within a large interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care, with responsibilities including facilitating oncology support groups, providing short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and navigating complex healthcare systems. This is a full-time position with on-site presence (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm) near NYP in Manhattan. Preferred criteria include LCSW; minimum 2–3 years of clinical social work experience in oncology or related settings; licensure as LMSW and MSW degree.
