Job Summary
Facilitate on-site psychoeducational groups and conduct individual counseling sessions for justice-involved individuals grounded in procedural justice and trauma-informed care. Conduct clinical assessments, make treatment referrals, and report to court while providing comprehensive case management to mandated clients. Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and administrative duties including data management and grant reporting. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, trainings, and supervision to support the Bronx Community Solutions initiative. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred; full-time role in the Bronx with a salary range of $57,500-$75,700.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written skills
- LMSW or a degree in a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related area
- Skilled communicator able to work in multi-disciplinary setting and maintain strong relationships with multiple agencies and organizations both onsite and in the community
- Highly organized and excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure/fast-paced work environment
- Sense of humor
- Critical thinking skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with drug/alcohol treatment, mental health services, co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practice
- Extensive group facilitation experience
- Co-facilitation experience
- Ability to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment
