Job Summary
Social Worker for Adult Safeguarding based in Barnsley. Undertakes safeguarding enquiries involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults 18+. Collaborates with police, housing, and health professionals; applies Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, and Making Safeguarding Personal. Requires SWE registration and a Social Work qualification, with post-qualified experience. Three days per week in the office as part of a locality safeguarding team. Hybrid working arrangement with flexible balance between onsite and remote work.
Required Qualifications
- SWE registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
