Job Summary
Foster a climate and deliver services that maximize residents’ individuality, independence and dignity; identify psychosocial, mental and emotional needs and aid in accessing services; ensure care aligns with NASW Code of Ethics and applicable regulations; work within a care team to support physical, mental and psychosocial well-being and quality of life for geriatric residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field, including but not limited to Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology from an accredited school of social work, required.
- One year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting working directly with geriatric individuals.
