Job Summary
LMSW/LCSW provide clinical psychosocial services and case management for the WPRCI patients and families in the UAMS Cancer Service Line, including initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments, development of treatment plans/interventions documented in the EMR, coordination with medical staff, advocacy for patients/families, education and referrals, financial/social support, and supervision of graduate interns. Roles include direct counseling across individual, family, couples, group, and crisis interventions, with opportunities to supervise interns and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams; periodic travel and evening work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- LMSW: Masters Degree - Social Work PLUS Professional License/Certificate - LMSW
- LCSW I: Masters Degree in Social Work; PLUS Zero to Two years working in administration, nonprofit organization, or health care environment with supervisory experience; Current LCSW license from Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board
- LCSW II: Master’s Degree in Social Work PLUS Three years working in administration, nonprofit organization, or health care environment with supervisory experience; Current LCSW license from Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board
