Job Summary
Provide individual counseling, case management, and crisis support while conducting home visits and facilitating group sessions. Attend school-based meetings to collaborate with administration on student and family needs, and develop positive relationships with the school community through parent workshops and staff development. Supervise social workers and interns via weekly structured supervision and meetings, ensuring high-quality case notes, bio psycho-socials, and goal plans. Lead the Partnership with Children representative role within the school building, acting as the primary face of the organization. Work full-time in a year-round, in-person school setting with occasional weeknight hours, reporting to a supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- New York State LCSW, or LCSW eligibility
- SIFI certification
- At least one year's experience supervising social work interns
- At least one year's experience in school setting
- Strong experience working with students and families
- Work with fidelity to model while also being able to implement model according to specific school needs
- Interest in and comfort with working with data to inform practice
- Act as lead Partnership with Children representative at the school and have ability and interest in being the face of Partnership with Children within the school building
- Work in fast-paced environment, flexible and can-do attitude
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and clearance by NYC Department of Education
