Job Summary
Oversee all parenting functions within the assigned program by working with DCYF and attorneys for clients involved in custody matters. Create, execute, and document personalized parenting plans based on assessed parent and child requirements while delivering parent education. Foster therapeutic relationships and utilize child development assessments to enhance outcomes, effectively navigating conflicts with internal and external services. Manage time, tasks, and projects efficiently to provide comprehensive case management for residents, encompassing plan development, observation, and feedback. Cultivate a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for parents and children through collaboration with the Child Care Program Director, Sr. Director of Operations, Clinical Supervisor, and Outpatient Services & Quality Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or similar field
- Previous recent applicable professional experience specifically with DCYF/CPS
- Valid drivers license
- Vehicle insurance
- 5 years licensed driving experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in counseling, family therapy, or social work
- Experience working with women and children with at-risk situations
- Knowledgeable in alcoholism, drug addiction, and ASAM criteria
- Knowledgeable in long-term rehabilitative process, including awareness of the care, post-treatment crisis, relapse, and new problems arising from need for medical sobriety etc.
