Job Summary
Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and urgent social care assessments while responding to referrals and completing duty work. Safeguard adults with complex mental health needs and collaborate closely with health and social care partners across Wiltshire. Provide support and supervision to students and unqualified staff. This 3-month temporary assignment offers 37 hours per week with hybrid working options, including office-based work, home working, and community visits. The role includes 4 days within the Mental Health Team and 1 day on the AMHP Hub rota.
Required Qualifications
- Current AMHP approval
- Social Work England registration
- Experience within Mental Health and/or Adult Services
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation
