Social Studies Teacher at Youree Drive Middle School responsible for instruction, supervision, classroom management, student assessment and evaluation, and extracurricular involvement. Duties align with TAP Teaching Skills, Knowledge, and Responsibilities across four domains: Instruction, Planning, Environment, and Professionalism. Roles include planning effective lessons, motivating students, presenting instructional content, pacing, using varied materials, questioning, providing academic feedback, grouping students, applying content knowledge, understanding students, analytical and practical thinking, problem solving, and continuous professional development. Requires collaboration with staff, parents, students, and other stakeholders, timely grading and reporting, participation in school improvement initiatives, and adherence to CPSB policies and state regulations.
