Job Summary
Social Studies Teacher responsible for teaching multiple social studies courses including U.S. Government, U.S. History, Economics, World History and Civilization, World Geography and History of the World, Psychology, Sociology, and/or Law Education. Plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned to Indiana State Standards and Common Core; establish a positive classroom environment; maintain accurate grade and attendance records; use a variety of instructional strategies and technology to engage diverse learners; collaborate with social studies colleagues; participate in professional development; implement IEP/504 accommodations as required; and work as a full-time contract teacher in South Bend, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid High School Level License/Certification in the subject course areas listed
- Ideal candidates will be certified to teach multiple social studies courses
- Candidates must not have had a recommendation for Probation Assistance on their most recent evaluation
- Alternative Education experience preferred
