Social Studies Teacher Middle School

Teach middle school social studies aligned with district curriculum and Connecticut standards; develop engaging lessons that promote historical thinking, civic engagement, inquiry, analysis, and effective communication; utilize primary and secondary sources, discussion, writing, and project-based learning to deepen student understanding of historical and contemporary issues; differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners; assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback to students and families; foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture that values diverse perspectives and civil discourse.
