Teach social studies to middle school students at Brooklyn Lab; deliver standards-aligned instruction that prepares students for college, career, and life; design thoughtful lessons and use data to inform instruction; differentiate instruction through small-group work and use formative and summative assessments to drive growth; lead advisories targeting students’ social-emotional needs; collaborate with colleagues and families to support a safe, inclusive, achievement-oriented community and help scholars thrive beyond high school.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in history, geography, economics, civics, social studies education or a related field
- Certification to teach in New York State
- At least 2 years of teaching experience; urban and/or low-income areas preferred
- Master’s Degree preferred
