Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities designed to fulfill potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; develop and implement curriculum plans; prepare lessons reflecting individual differences; present subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies; plan instructional strategies and use appropriate materials; assess student learning and adapt instruction; cooperate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP; supervise teacher aides/volunteers; utilize technology in teaching; maintain open communication with students and parents; participate in district staff development; uphold ethical standards and district regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
- Student teaching or approved internship
- Three references from former employers, college professors, supervisors (minimum two from previous supervisors) to be provided by Granbury ISD
