Job Summary
Social Studies Teacher and Drill Team Sponsor for the 26-27 school year. Teaches social studies content using district-approved curriculum, implements effective instructional strategies, assesses student performance, develops lesson plans and materials, maintains records and communicates progress to parents. Provides supervision and support for drill team activities, and participates in PLCs and curriculum development. Requires AR licensure and compliance with district and state regulations. Full 190-day contract beginning August 2026, with benefits as specified in the employee contract; duties include before/after-school activities and various duties as assigned. Fort Smith Public Schools context; location is district-wide in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
