Job Summary
Social Studies Teacher for secondary students (9-12) at Iowa Colony High School, with responsibilities to provide engaging learning activities in the core subject, align instruction with curriculum standards, and support student growth. Will also coach Boys Soccer. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject/level, ESL Certification, and demonstrated competency in the core subject area. At least one year of student teaching or approved internship preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- ESL Certification
- Experience: At least one year student teaching or approved internship
