Job Summary
Social Studies Teacher for grades 7-12 in Mount Vernon, NY. Must hold NYS Social Studies certification/license and demonstrate understanding of NYS Standards and Regents frameworks. Prepare lessons aligned to Regents examinations, promote a safe classroom, and engage students through inquiry and collaboration. Participate in co-teaching/interdisciplinary planning, assess student learning, adapt instruction, and communicate effectively with families. Experience with social and emotional learning and utilization of content-area resources to reinforce standards is preferred.

- Certification/License: NYS Social Studies 7-12
- Proficiency in NYS Social Studies Standards
- Familiarity with NYS Regents Examinations (Global History and Geography II; US History and Government)
