Job Summary
Social Studies Teacher position for the 2026-2027 assignment. Develop course syllabi and lesson plans; plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities aligned to state standards; collaborate with the department; establish objectives; manage classroom behavior; use technology to support instruction; observe and evaluate student progress; assign and grade work; provide feedback; maintain records; participate in meetings and extracurricular activities; ensure compliance with district policies and Title IX/Section 504; salary per MCEA Agreement; benefits include medical, annuity, and life insurance. Michigan City Area Schools, Indiana. Requires Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for Indiana teacher certification. Provide ongoing communication with students, colleagues, and parents regarding progress and needs.
Required Qualifications
