Job Summary
The Lead Teacher at KIPP Capital Region will be responsible for developing and implementing a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum for grades 5-8, assessing student progress, and providing daily feedback. The role requires collaboration with school teams, fostering a positive classroom culture, engaging with families, and seeking personal professional growth. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, a valid NYS Teaching License or the willingness to obtain one, and have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in charter or public school environments.
Required Qualifications

- Valid NYS Teaching Licensure or willingness to pursue state certification
