Job Summary
Social Studies teacher position in Lockhart, FL. Works with administrators and instructional teams to plan and implement hands-on programs and activities for students; participates with faculty to plan and evaluate programs of school improvement; manages classroom and supervises equipment; diagnoses and analyzes student progress to provide appropriate instruction; uses varied instructional techniques and technology; maintains records and communicates with parents; participates in professional growth and training to stay current with technology and curriculum; adheres to contract provisions and supports student learning and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Certification or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education to teach in the State of Florida
