Job Summary
Social Studies Faculty responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across history, civics, geography, economics, and related social sciences. Design and implement rigorous curriculum aligned with standards, integrate Jesuit Ignatian values, foster critical thinking and civic engagement, assess student learning, mentor students pursuing history, political science, law, international relations, or economics, and collaborate with colleagues to support a diverse student body. The role emphasizes dynamic instruction, inclusive classrooms, and active participation in school and community engagement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Social Studies Education, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant educational credentials
- Familiarity with Jesuit educational principles and a commitment to the school's mission
- Previous teaching experience, preferably at the high school level
