Job Summary
Support Social Skills Program participants by assisting with implementation of social skills training, fostering independence, and aiding participants in program activities. Assist Program Coordinator with gathering needed supplies, ensure health and safety, and comply with agency policies and procedures. Requires ability to read and write, handle multiple tasks, meet physical requirements for activity (standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing), and may involve CPR certification preferred. Shift involves Wednesdays 5:00pm-6:00pm and Thursdays 5:00pm-6:30pm; offered through People Inc. and focused on individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- HS Diploma/GED preferred
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations
- Ability to read and comprehend plans and documentation
