Job Summary
Full-time Social Worker, Degreed at Peak Resources Shelby. Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the facility’s Social Services Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines and regulations, our P&P’s, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. Located in Grover, NC; typical schedule Monday-Friday 8a-5p. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a bachelor’s degree in a human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling and psychology
- One (1) year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals
- Current social work license in the State if applicable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
