Job Summary
Renders clinical psychosocial services to patients and families of all ages (neonate to geriatric); assesses psychosocial needs and makes referrals to facilities or community agencies; provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling. Participates in interdisciplinary meetings, coordinates resources from community, social, health and welfare agencies, and supports care teams. Provides training for nursing staff to intervene during on-call hours and weekends. Upholds Adventist Health safety and compliance policies (vaccinations and E-Verify) as part of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s)
- Master’s Degree in social work or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Three years' experience in a social agency, hospital, or other organization dealing with health and/or welfare (Preferred)
