Job Summary
Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of social service programs addressing patient and family emotional, social, and practical needs. Ensure integration of these services with overall patient care plans and evaluate program effectiveness to drive improvements. Direct and supervise staff for counseling, discharge planning, and community resource referrals while recruiting, training, and supervising social work personnel. Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare and social work regulations through close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. This full-time role in Ocala, FL, requires a Master's in Social Work and LCSW license, with potential for evening or weekend hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive social work experience in a healthcare setting
- At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
