Job Summary
Develop, implement, and evaluate social service programs to address community needs while managing budgets, funding proposals, and resource allocation. Supervise and support social service staff through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Collaborate with community agencies, government entities, and stakeholders to build partnerships, ensure compliance with laws and accreditation standards, and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Advocate for clients and the organization by representing social service interests in public forums and policy discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in social services, including three years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of social service programs, community resources, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to manage budgets and oversee program development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Public Administration (MPA), or a related discipline
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent certification
- Experience working with diverse populations and in multidisciplinary team environments
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising strategies
- Demonstrated success in community outreach and advocacy initiatives
