Social Service Director, BSW

Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the Social Service department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and community policies. Supervise staff by setting job assignments, priorities, and goals while developing and implementing educational programs. Provide direct psychosocial interventions, conduct resident assessments, and create or update care plans and progress notes. Coordinate resident visits with outside services, attend resident council meetings, and assist families with coping during placement, illness, or grieving processes. Plan discharges and conduct in-service programs to educate staff on psychosocial issues and patient rights.
