Job Summary
Enforce rules and safety guidelines while maintaining a friendly, competitive environment for players. Create a welcoming atmosphere for participants and ensure games, activities, and events run smoothly as the primary point of contact for players and guests. Communicate with the office regarding equipment, rule issues, or player concerns. This part-time role supports pickup games and league operations, requiring availability from 5:30pm-10:30pm on weekdays and 9am-4pm on weekends. Reliable transportation to field locations is essential. Prior experience playing or refereeing the sport is ideal, along with a passion for sports and social activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks
- Weekday availability from 5:30pm-10:30pm
- Weekend availability between 9am - 4pm
- Must have reliable transportation to and from field locations
- Must value punctuality and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience playing or refereeing the sport
- Prior referee experience
- Experience in diffusing challenging situations
