Job Summary
Social Media Specialist to execute core functions forTurn 14 Distribution’s digital footprint across owned brands, including content generation, social growth planning, data analysis, marketing program management, agency relationship management, and execution for social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube). Must have expertise in photography and video creation/editing to produce high-quality visual and written content, develop and maintain monthly social calendars, monitor KPIs across paid/earned/owned initiatives, provide social reporting and insights, stay ahead of digital trends, benchmark against competitors, craft brand copy, build relationships with influencers, source marketing assets, and ensure communications align with brand guidelines and legal standards. Responsibilities may expand and evolve, and collaboration with marketing and brand teams is essential to support campaigns, product launches, events, and brand initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience)
- 3+ years of experience in social media platforms
- 3-5 years of social media content creation and strategy experience, ideally in-house or agency-side for enthusiast brands
- Experience working with influencers, creators, and community managers
- Proven photography and video production/editing skills using DSLR/mirrorless cameras and tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in Google Suite and MAC or PC
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes
- Ability to work well within a team environment and with a wide range of people
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and correct grammar usage
- Understanding of analytics tools (Meta Insights, Sprout Social, Later, etc.)
