Social Media Specialist, Military Division

Job Summary
Lead strategic military/veteran social media initiatives; define messaging for service members and veterans; translate VA loan benefits into audience-friendly messaging; manage Facebook/Instagram posts, set campaign objectives and KPIs, identify and coordinate military/influencer partnerships, build engagement with military communities, ensure compliance with mortgage/VA loan guidelines, collaborate with loan officers and underwriting to verify accuracy of VA loan content, track and report on KPIs (lead volume, conversion rates, CTR, CPC, cost per lead, ROI), optimize campaigns, develop and maintain weekly/monthly performance reports, provide direction on content needs and campaign briefs, create and schedule content across platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, paid social, or influencer marketing
- Military or veteran experience is a plus but not required
- Experience in mortgage, VA loans, real estate, financial services, or military recruiting, preferred
- Advanced understanding of targeting and engaging military and veteran audiences
- Familiarity with CRM workflows and lead tracking (e.g., Airtable, HubSpot, or similar)
- Knowledge of VA loan basics, underwriting, and compliance, preferred
- Knowledge of AI tools for marketing automation and workflow optimization, preferred
- Skilled in written communication and effective collaboration across marketing, loan officers, and underwriting teams
- Skilled in using data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance and inform optimization strategies
