Job Summary
Run social channels day to day, writing posts, setting strategy, and scaling accounts across Instagram, Reddit, and developer communities. Manage brand and product accounts by crafting copy, planning content, and moderating engagement while representing Perplexity where users already are. Partner with Communications, marketing, product managers, and engineers to adapt and ship fast in a launch environment. You'll write most content yourself, demonstrating excellent judgement and high taste for diverse audiences. This hands-on role focuses on growing presence through community initiatives and leadership writing, leveraging native fluency on key platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years running social for a brand, ideally tech and AI
- Excellent judgement and high taste
- Native fluency on Instagram and LinkedIn, with a track record of growing an account
- Demonstrated experience being entrusted with a brand voice
- You know how to write for different audiences and platforms, and adjust the voice for each
- Comfortable in a fast launch cycle where the plan changes often
